WordPress Photos Team.

Joining the WordPress Photos Team.

As part of the WordPress Credits program, I decided to contribute to the WordPress Photos Team. I was drawn to this team because photography is a powerful way to communicate ideas, inspire creativity, and make digital content more engaging. I also appreciate the importance of open resources that allow people around the world to create and share content freely.

My Contribution Project.

My project, Skyline Commons: Original Sky Photography for WordPress, aims to contribute 30 original, high-quality JPEG photographs of skies, clouds, and atmospheric conditions to the WordPress Photo Directory. These photographs will be submitted for review under the CC0 license, making them freely available for others to use in their creative and professional projects.

Through this project, I hope to capture the beauty and variety of the sky while contributing useful visual resources to the WordPress community. I want to create a collection that can be used by bloggers, designers, developers, and content creators in a wide range of projects.

My Goals for the Program

By the end of the WordPress Credits program, I hope to have successfully submitted my photographs and gained a better understanding of how the WordPress Photos Team works. I also want to learn more about open licensing, photo submission guidelines, and the review process involved in maintaining a high-quality image directory.

Most importantly, I hope this experience will help me understand how individual contributions can make a meaningful difference in an open-source community. I look forward to developing my photography skills, learning from the WordPress community, and creating resources that others can use in their own work.
